Under Workflows you find all workflows of the client with their status (draft, published, archived), the last change and whether it is the starting workflow. In the test environment you create new workflows and open the editor; in production you view published versions.
How to create a new workflow
- In the test environment, go to Workflows and click New workflow.
- Enter a name and choose the message type.
- Build the workflow in the editor and save it. The status is draft until you publish.
The overview
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Name | Click to open |
| Status | Draft (only in test), Published (version x in production), Archived |
| Starting workflow | A star next to the workflow in which new collection orders start by default |
| Last changed | By whom and when |
| Collection orders | How many collection orders are in the workflow right now (per environment) |
From the overview you can open a workflow, copy it as the basis for a new one, publish it or archive it.
Archiving
You can archive a workflow in which no collection orders are running anymore. It disappears from selection lists (Switch workflow, delivery) but is kept so you can look back at old collection orders. If collection orders are still running in it, you cannot archive it; switch those collection orders first.
Good to know
- Classic flows are not in this overview; you manage them in the old portal until they are migrated. See Migrating classic flows to workflows.
- A change in the test environment changes nothing in production until you publish.
- You cannot delete templates that a workflow uses as long as the workflow uses them.
