Divides collection orders over two or more exits based on percentages, to compare variants: for example 50% a friendly email and 50% a businesslike one. The division is weighted random per collection order.
Ports
| Port | Meaning |
|---|---|
| in | Input |
| A, B, (C ... J) | Two exits by default, can be extended to ten |
Settings
| Setting | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Number of exits | 2 to 10 |
| Percentage per exit | Decimals are allowed; the total must be exactly 100, otherwise the percentages turn red and you cannot save |
Use
- Place the A/B test before the nodes you want to compare.
- Connect a variant to each exit (another template, another channel, another wait time).
- Then let the paths come together again at the same next node.
- Compare the results in the reports (for example paid within x days per template).
Good to know
- The node shows a disclaimer: the percentages are a chance per collection order, not an exact division over the whole set. With small numbers the division can be different.
- Use labels or separate templates to see in reports which variant a collection order got.
