You edit or cancel a running settlement with Edit settlement or Cancel settlement. When you cancel, you must choose what happens to the collection order next.
How to do it
- Open the collection order (via the customer, or via Agreements > Settlements and ā¦).
- Below the terms in the collection order panel you find Edit settlement and Cancel settlement.
Edit: you get the same form as when you create a settlement. The settlement profile is fixed. You can change the terms and amounts. Click Save.
Cancel:
- The dialog warns: "All outstanding terms will be cancelled and the customer will no longer be able to make payments through this settlement."
- Choose the Failure strategy (required):
| Failure strategy | What happens |
|---|---|
| Fallback to flow of choice | At Recovery flow for settlement you choose a flow in which the collection order continues. |
| Create task, pause collection order | The collection order pauses and a task is added. |
| Resume at original step | The collection order continues at the step from before the agreement. |
| Resume at current step | The collection order continues at the step where it is now. |
- Confirm. The outstanding terms get the status "Cancelled".
