Creating a payment promise profile

In Settings > Payment promise profiles, click Create new payment promise profile, set what happens when the customer pays in full, pays nothing or pays part, and choose the messages.

How to do it

1. Go to Settings > Payment promise profiles and click Create new payment promise profile.
2. Fill in the Profile settings: Profile name, Respite days, the three actions and the Allow partial promises toggle. See Payment promise profile: fields and options.
3. Fill in the Constraints: Minimum amount and Maximum days until due date.
4. Set up the communication: Confirmation (required), Reminder before due date (with Days before due date reminder) and Due date (required). For each moment, click Add channel and choose a template.
5. Click Save.

Good to know

• Permission: Manage payment promise profiles (Configuration Manager, Application Manager).
• Duplicating, making a profile the default and deactivating work the same as for settlement profiles. See Duplicating a profile, making it the default or deactivating it.
