POM Connect is POM's middleware for organisations whose system cannot call an API. POM Connect collects your data, converts it and delivers it to the portal through the API. You do not have to build anything. POM Connect is purchased separately.
How it works
- You agree with POM which data you deliver, in what form and how often, for example an export from your system every night.
- POM sets up POM Connect for you: collecting, converting to the portal's format and delivering.
- POM Connect delivers your customers, collection orders and payments to the portal, in the same way as an integration through the API.
- In the portal you then work as usual. You see the collection orders and their timeline as if you had delivered them through the API yourself.
For whom
- Your system can create an export, but cannot call an API.
- You have no IT team or integration partner to build and maintain an API integration.
- Your data needs converting or combining before it can go into the portal.
If POM Connect delivers your complete list of outstanding items, the portal can also see which items have been paid: anything no longer in the list becomes Paid. See Collection Sync explained.
Good to know
- POM Connect is set up and maintained by POM. If your export changes, let POM know in advance.
